Lift Them Up

This tutoring program is available during the school year.

The Oak Ridge Youth Development School is accepting applications for enrollment in the Lift Them Up tutoring program.  Students who are enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible to attend.

Transportation

If your student is attending John F. Kennedy Elementary School or Eisenhower Middle School, transportation from school to tutoring is provided by the Kansas City Kansas Public School.

Each tutoring session is $25/student.  Scholars will receive 6 tutoring sessions for a total of $150.  Additional sessions will be scheduled as needed. 

Payment Options

We have gotten rid of those long payment lines. You can now pay online!  Once you have completed your enrollment packet including all of the required state forms, and they have been approved, we will send you a special payment link via email and you will be able to make your payment electronically.  That link will be your own specialized link so you can make payments anytime you choose.  Checks, money orders, debit, or credit cards are accepted. Checks should be made out to Oak Ridge Youth Development School (ORYDS).

No payments will be accepted until the enrollment packet has been received and approved.

Scholarship

There are scholarships available based on income. Anyone wishing to apply for scholarships for their child must provide proof of any income and benefits. For additional scholarship information please contact Charlie Jennings at cjennings@ormbc.org.
